The coffee table is one of the elements which complete the living room, being usually placed at the center of the sitting area with seating placed all around it. Although it may not be used for much, the coffee table is a must-have. Modern coffee tables sometimes take this accent piece to a new level by giving it additional functions. As a result, the table can also include storage or can double as something else. Others serve as eye-catching accessories or focal points for the room by featuring unusual proportions, shapes, colors or combinations of materials.
Most often, the coffee table doesn’t impress with its size. It’s why it could be refreshing to break the pattern. This is a coffee table with a shape and design similar to dining tables. It was wonderfully chosen for this décor as it matches the sofa and the shape of the room.
The coffee table, although not impressive in size, is the focal point of the whole living room. It usually sits in the center and it’s the element that unites everything else around it. So how do you choose your coffee table? Well, color is one way to go. Black coffee tables, for example, can be very versatile and they basically go with everything. But there are lots of different ways in which to integrate them into the décor. So what is your design?
This is not exactly a mirrored table but we really like its look so we’ll show it to you anyway. The mercury finish is quite elegant and gives the table a retro chic look which goes well with Nordic-inspired decors but also with a variety of other styles. This is the SEI Paschall Glam table and, as you can see, its design is simple. The metal frame is slim and the glass top and shelf are just what the table needs to look glamorous and sophisticated without necessarily looking too formal.
